Medieval Museum

This morning, Wednesday, May 16, we went through the Ehrenberg Museum. We are glad we waited to tour this museum till today because today we had snow and rain. That kind of weather makes for nice indoor activities, not the fun outdoor activities we enjoyed the last two sunny days.

The museum was well done and everything was translated into English. Plus it was all hands on so we could touch and try on things, like armor.

" Mithrail, it is light as a feather, but hard as cold steal."

Abby might argue with the "light as a feather."

"I am no man!"

Sam trying on a helmet:

Nathan was able to try on the pike's men armor and weigh himself before and after. He weighed ten kilograms more with the armor.

Some of the shoes people in the middle ages wore.

This was a fun way to learn a bit more about medieval castles, fighting, life, and times!
